Duncan Memorial Big Cedar Tree offers a glimpse into the life cycle of an impressive cedar giant. Take a short hike just a few hundred feet to see a nearly 1,000-year-old cedar towering in the forest.
Getting there
Turn east off Highway 101 at milepost 171.6 onto the N-1000 forest road (There is a large sign on the highway). Drive 1.2 miles then stay right at the ?Y? which puts you on the N-1100 forest road. Drive another 1.6 miles then stay right at the next ?Y?. Drive 0.7 miles then turn right onto an unnamed spur road. Drive 0.4 miles then turn right ? drive 500 feet to parking area.
